Halloween has joined Christmas as being less a single day and more an entire season. Let’s face it: for those of us who like to dress up, like to be scared, like to explore the darker corners of our souls or just like to party as if the very apocalypse is scheduled for the morrow, Halloween is our own black Christmas.

Take it from us: when it comes to pagan partying, White Mischief still holds the mother of all Halloween balls. Their extravagant events take over entire venues and then cram them from fore to aft with talented performers and more than a few interactive surprises. We dare you – nay, we double dare you – not to entertained by the exquisitely curated blend of music which gets even the most reticent feet moving, cabaret which will drop even the tightest of jaws and plenty more to investigate should you dare.

This year, White Mischief are not pulling their punches. Their Heaven & Hell Halloween Ball on Saturday 31 October invites all and sundry to the Scala in King’s Cross for a night to remember. On the main stage, one can enjoy a phenomenal live show compered by pith-helmeted YouTube chap hop sensation Professor Elemental; joining him will be the 10-piece brass band Old Dirty Brasstards playing hits from Daft Punk and Basement Jaxx, Sicilian electroswing quintet Swingovers, aerial acrobatics from Circus Maximus winner Jair Ramirez and zombie thriller dancing from Cabaret Rouge.

Across three floors, you’ll find curious characters in every nook and cranny, inviting you to sit on Satan’s Throne, have a Selfie with God, get an old-fashioned Silhouette Portrait, become a contestant in weirdo gameshow Are You Game from Fowl Cabaret, and get tempted by the original serpent as Seffi shows off her real life snake.

For one lucky person, we have a pair of tickets to give away. To get your hands on them, all you have to do is send us the answer to one simple question.

This year’s event takes place in:

  1. The Sixth Circle Of Hell
  2. The Black Museum
  3. The Scala
