For Artists: How to Get Reviewed

TIC welcomes inquiries from performers in all strands of variety entertainment: cabaret, burlesque, circus, stage magic and speciality acts. Beginner or veteran, talented or otherwise, we want to hear from you.

● Send press releases as attachments (DOC, RTF or PDF), and also paste the text of your press release in the body of your e-mail message.

● Attach live photos separately, as 300 dpi JPG files*.

● Mark the listings information clearly: show title, featured performers, dates and times, venue (with address), ticket prices, show/venue website** and press contact details.

● Please give your e-mail message a subject line like PRESS RELEASE: SHOW TITLE.

If your press release has more than 1,000 words, it could probably use a trim. Remember we are a London-based publication, with London-based reviewers: if the venue where you’re performing is much further than Croydon, Ealing, Enfield or Dagenham, you might want to consider other publications.

Got it? Send it to info@thisiscabaret.com. We’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
