For fans of all-killer, no-stocking filler shows, Christmas may have just come early. The fabulous Beyond the Cabaret night returns for a mash-up special that is not to be missed!

Basically, if you’ve been anywhere in cabaret this year then you will have heard of burlesque beauty Miss Polly Rae, the musical tykes known as Frisky and Mannish and no doubt sampled the tasty delights of The Folly Mixtures. If none of these ring a bell then we have set you homework of two thousand lines, in glittery ink, of: “I am a bad cabaret fan and must attend more shows”. We’ll know if you haven’t done it.
Following its success in 2009 and 2010, this seasonal special returns to London for a third time around and it promises to be a corker of a night. Frisky and Mannish come together for the first time in six months to headline an evening of cabaret by some of London’s foremost variety performers.
The night finds a new home in the beautiful and historic surroundings of The Clapham Grand and will be featuring performances from West End Burlesque Queen Miss Polly Rae, London Cabaret Award- Nominees The Folly Mixtures, acclaimed musical duo Ginger and Black, sinuous acrobatic sensation Sammy Dinneen and cabaret hostess Lili La Scala. Beyond the “Christmas” Cabaret is set to melt the hearts of even the most cynical of Scrooges, helped along by a special performance from Benny The Elf of Truth who comes direct from Santa’s very own workshop. Des O’Conner will be doing his best to control the rabble – and the performers – as he hosts the night.
