With Circusfest in full swing, the cow-shaped Udderbelly venue opening for business last week and the Spiegeltent launching next month, the circus has truly rolled into London in a big way. And here comes a fringe benefit of all that action that you don’t need deep pockets to partake in.
Having already appeared this year at Circusfest with their show Clowns And Queens, Gandini Juggling will be taking their Edinburgh Fringe hit Smashed to at the Udderbelly Festival next week. At 4pm on 22 April (the opening day of Smashed), the troupe have announced that they will be doing a “come and have a go” juggling lesson near the London Eye on the Southbank. Open to the public, anyone will be free to come along, bring some apples, and try their hand at juggling, guided by world-famous maestros. As the world’s biggest and most well-travelled juggling company, lessons with Gandini Juggling usually come at a very high cost, therefore this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be taught by the best and have some fun in the process.
Want to join in? You will need to email info@chloenelkinconsulting.com in order to be put on their list of attendees. On the day, identify yourself to one of the team for a free ticket to the one of the first three shows. Obviously, tickets are subject to availability so don’t leave this particular ball in the air too long.
