The louchest flâneur in town won Alternative Eurovision last week and is now offering a select few a personal audience.

France's Marcel Lucont's winning tune Merde-Oui was a laconic hip-hop number.

Last week, Marcel Lucont was the toast of Alternative Eurovision, winning the audience vote with his laconic yet erotic hip-hop number  Merde-Oui.

He will soon be revving up for Edinburgh Fringe with some previews but he has a special treat in store for his fans: the chance to savour morsels of the complete Lucont in your own living room.

Through his new project Marcel Lucont, À La Carte, the Gallic comedian will putting up for auction a number of personal shows in July and August. The author of What We French Think Of You British…And Where You Are Going Wrong will publish a review after each of his one-hour performances as well as a small video clip.

Bidding for each show starts at a reasonable 99p and, for the two preview shows on 13 July and 16 July, he will come to you wherever you are in the UK. There are ten more opportunities from 8-17 August but these have to take part in Edinburgh.

As with anything French, there are a fair number of rules and regulations bidders should be aware of, for example “You are welcome to provide Monsieur Lucont with wine, just as he is welcome to refuse it if it is not up to standard.” The full list can be seen on the official website.

Bonne chance!
