One of the highlights of the cabaret calendar, Alternative Eurovision was (again) a superb spectacle.

On the eve of the real thing, Time Out Live’s Alternative Eurovision stuck two fingers up to regional backrubbing, cynical commentary and the will-sapping voting rounds. The emphasis here was on entertainment with the cream of the London cabaret scene coming together to provide a feast for the eyes and ears.

Move over Graham Norton: Anna Greenwood returned to once again helm Alternative Eurovision.

Marcus Reeves and Sarah-Louise Young joined forces under the banner of "S&M"

Sarah-Louise Young matched Marcus Reeves well to sing one of his new songs, Smoke And Mirrors.

The Original Street Dancers represented the People's Republic Of Lambeth.

Anna Greenwood's costume changes and breezy personality kept the interest up between performances.

Marcel Lucont's powerful performance connected with many at the London Wonderground.

The finale saw the performers gathering together at the end before Lucont gave another rendition of his winning entry.
