Aircraft Circus are not your ordinary big top buccaneers. Their latest show promises fire, chains, life-size puppets, limos and a truckload of emotional baggage. Buckle in – it sounds one hell of a ride.

Aircraft Circus' Damaged Goods uses dark comedy to explore the private corners of modern life.

Aircraft Circus’ Damaged Goods uses dark comedy to explore the private corners of modern life.

If you think circus and big top go together like bread and butter, Aircraft Circus will make you think again. The last time we saw the London-based troupe, they had taken over a frigate moored in Canary Wharf for March’s Midnight Circus, a technically impressive and cheeky two-hour long spectacle which made inspired use of the unusual surroundings.

Taking place in the Hangar Arts Trust building where Aircraft Circus hold specialist courses, their latest show is back on terra firma but no less attractive for it. Damaged Goods uses dazzling physical feats, visual storytelling and heaps of dark comedy to explore the private corners of modern life. Keeping the blood pumping will be a live soundscape of percussion and specially remixed tracks orchestrated by David Kemp from his fortress of technology.

Damaged Goods runs on the following dates: 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19 and 20 December and we have a pair of adult tickets to give away to one of the performances subject to availability. There are three ways to get your hands on our special prize:
