Lady Alex performs singing burlesque numbers with high production values at the Wam Bam Club

As weekly events go, few have the high profile and consistency of The Wam Bam Club. The supperclub has been the regular Saturday night resident at West End hotspot Café de Paris for seven years and it is now stretching its wings with a new monthly show.

From 26 April, Lady Alex, Bunny Galore and a rotating array of performers will be appearing at the Bloomsbury Ballroom as part of a night featuring a live swing band, dancing until late and lashings of cabaret and burlesque spread across two stages. Lady Alex is certainly excited about the new show, telling us “it’s time to raise the bar and keep the public excited about cabaret.”

One lucky person can win a pair of “silver” tickets (we’re not sure if they are literally silver but stick with this) which guarantees entry to the opening night, a free glass of bubbly each on arrival, a swing dance aftershow accompanied by the live band and seating at private cabaret tables until 10pm.

To bag yourself the pair, you can enter in three ways:

● Follow @ThisIsCabaret on Twitter and re-tweet our post about the competition

● Become our fan on Facebook and share our competition image (if you don’t become a fan we have no way of identifying you).

● E-mail win@thisiscabaret.com with the subject line COMPETITION-WAMBAM.

Choose one of the above. The competition’s deadline is 11am on Friday, April 12th. This Is Cabaret will choose one winner by lucky draw and contact them by email, Facebook or Twitter with details on how to redeem their prize. By submitting an entry to this competition you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have read and accepted our Terms and Conditions.
