The follow-up to last year’s brilliant cabaret charity calendar will be released in a few months and the 2015 edition will feature something a little bit special.

Organised by the Double R Club’s Miss Rose Thorne, the All Nude Cabaret Charity Calendar 2014 featured fifteen of the fittest, funniest and just plain fabulous members of the cabaret performing community. Amongst others, the Folly MixturesLaurie Hagen, Sarah-Louise YoungBenjamin LoucheDusty LimitsMat Fraser and Mat Ricardo exposed themselves in tasteful fashion.

Proceeds from the calendar went to two worthy causes close to Thorne’s heart. Cancer Research is getting closer to finding means to combat and prevent the terrible disease while Macmillan Cancer Support provides invaluable assistance to sufferers and their families. Both of these organisations are kept afloat by public donations.

If you didn’t find a calendar under your Christmas tree last December, don’t despair. Work is already underway for the 2015 edition so feel free to start dropping hints to Santa.

For this year’s calendar, Thorne is planning something different. Inspired by the works of Spencer Tunick, she aims to get together as many nude cabaret industry folk as possible for a single photo to be taken by Sin Bozkurt on 20 July. Here’s the clarion call she sent out recently:

This year we are shooting an ALL NUDE GROUP PICTURE for the front of the calendar and we want to show as many people who work in cabaret as we can. Sin Bozkurt, our calendar photographer, will be channelling Spencer Tunick as we create our cover shot at a historic London cabaret venue.

If you are free Sunday July 20th, and would like to take part please contact Rose at therrclub@gmail.com for more details. As this is a charity project we are asking for donations of £5 for those wanting to take part, your money will be donated to Cancer Research and MacMillan.

Please share this call out for a great cause.

We want you ALL!

Technicians, photographers, producers, retired performers, make up artists, costumiers, door girls, stage managers and most of all YOU!!

If you think you fit the bill, get in touch with Rose Thorne by email at the supplied address.
