Sometimes, it’s fun being a woman. As part of the global ladyfest that was World Femininity Day, top burlesque performer and entrepreneur Zoe Charles organised a series of events in London under the title of The Clittorati Party. Events included an afternoon merkin workshop and a burlesque evening show.  East London’s Paper Dress Vintage Shop was closed to the general public for the day to host the events which sure a number of the capital’s top female cabaret talent take to the stage including This Is Cabaret columnist Tricity Vogue and burlesquers Rubyyy Jones, Mr Mistress, Ivy Paige, Luna Rosa and, naturally, Charles’ alter ego Lady Cheek.

The Clittorati Party was hosted in partnership with the Orchid Project to raise awareness and funds to combat female genital mutilation, a timeless cause which affects millions of women around the world. See the official website to find out what you can do or to donate anything from £5 up.
