Since yesterday, the chart of top ten cabaret shows as compiled by online aggregator EdTwinge, has seen more ups and downs than a burlesque troupe riding Segways down a cobbled Edinburgh street.

Showing that mixed reviews are no barrier to success, Lili La Scala‘s Another Fucking Variety Show is top of the pile today is closely followed by the steamrolling NY singer Lady Rizo. Celine Dion fan Damsel Sophie makes a (melo)dramatic return to the chart while The Famous Club Spiegel drops below newcomers magicians Young & Strange, part of the PBH’s Free Fringe.

Despite not appearing in today’s chart, burlesque circus show Briefs are still in line for the Fringe’s only cabaret-specific prize. The Time Out & Soho Theatre (TO&ST) award is presented tomorrow night with all five nominees performing on the night. More information on the TO&ST finalists and how you can grab free tickets to the unveiling of this year’s winner can be found here.
