The Udderbelly tent is back for another season.

The biggest pop-up venue in London at the moment is most likely the Udderbelly tent on the South Bank. It’s huge.

The venue has opened last week with an usually eclectic bill of comedy, cabaret and circus. On the outside, it looks like a purple upside-down cow; on the inside, there is space for a stage, as well as bleachers seating for up to 405 people. Here’s a super-speedy time-lapse video showing how it was put together over a number of days.

The Udderbelly tent will be in London until July when it ups sticks (or hooves?) and goes to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. More Udderbelly info can be seen right over here.
